Re: Ip address geolacation

209.85.220.41 is a Google mail server's IP address, not your wife's IP address. Unfortunately, Google does not include the sender's IP address in the headers.

Do you have access to her Google account?

Re: Sorbs.net blacklist

The SORBS and SPFBL listings are specific to being used by mail servers.

If the site you are trying to access was using those they would block almost all users from their site.

You may want to reach out to them and see if they'll provide more detail as to which service they are using.

Re: Sorbs.net blacklist

If they were using the SORBS list to block new users they would be blocking almost everyone.

Have you tried creating an account from a different device with a different public IP address?

Re: Hello

Oh, you are wanting to lookup IP details for an IP address, not get the IP address of the device.

We do not support IP details lookups.

I suggest you look at the services offered by one of the major geolocation database providers.

Re: Someone messing with me

You could try to get the sender to click on a link (from grabbify or iplogger) that would record his IP when he clicks on a link.

Re: Someone messing with me

That’s a portion of them, there should be more, but since it was sent from a gmail address the sender’s IP address definitely won’t be there.

Re: Need help to trace emails

About all you can do is report the theft to your local law enforcement and the platform where you and the buyer met.

The lesson for people reading this is: If someone pays via check, go to the bank it was drawn on to cash it OR wait at least 10 days after depositing it before assuming it's good.

Re: Someone messing with me

Unfortunately more and more email providers are not including the sender's IP address in the email headers. Chances are you are looking up the IP address if the mail server, not the sender.

If you would like to post the headers we can take a look at it here.

Re: Hello

A query to bot.whatismyipaddress.com will return the IP address of the device making the query. The return is not in JSON format, it's just the IP address.

Re: Sorbs.net blacklist

The SORBS DUL lists residential or dynamically assigned IP addresses as they should not be operating mail servers.

What's the error message that you are getting that is resulting in you not being able to earn money?
