Re: Blocking Proxies

No problem. And thanks again for sharing IPQualityScore.com. I had a nice online chat yesterday and I was pretty impressed with what they are offering including a free account. APIs can be a little tricky and I don't know much about JSON, but they have a couple options that don't require programing ...

Re: false proxy call by streamers

It's hard to tell why that one IP range is having a problem. Perhaps someone was using that IP range and doing something Netflix didn't like so they have flagged it. And I see what you are talking about with your ISP. I think your best bet is to ask your ISP for a "static IP" and one that is NOT in ...

Re: Blocking Proxies

I have been using htaccess for many years now to block click fraud and form spammers. What I am doing might make things easier for you. I have a LARGE block list, but it includes most of the non-USA web so it may block more than you need. Still, I think it will save you some work. Send me a Personal...

Re: Can i trust?

You should never trust ANYONE on the Internet. That IP actually appears to be located in Finland, but it almost looks like they are doing something to route the message through several accounts to try and hide something. There should be ways to van find out if they are lying to you or not. But do no...

Re: I have been being hacked for months

Your message doesn't provide any details, so it's going to be hard for someone to help.

I suggest that you contact someone in your area that know something about computer security to see what is going on and figure if you really need help or not. :-)

Re: Does how a person connects to internet effect the IP address origin

Well, the sender-IP that you mentioned appears to be for a Yahoo email server in Singapore. - How they connect to the Internet is going to affect their IP address and also what location they "appear" to be from. - It is unlikely that someone in LA is going to connect using a cell phone service locat...

Oh, you are talking about NetFlix. I wasn't sure at first. I tried contacting Netflix about this, but this is all the could tell me: Netflix Dona C. We aren't the experts on these settings, you should make sure the router’s connection settings are set to their defaults and any proxy settings are rem...

Re: Problem with tarcing IP

Not really. Gmail does not show you the IP of the actual sender. To get the person's IP address, you would have to send them an email that would contact something that could track them and let you know what the email address is. Something like a photo on a different server, or a page for them to rea...

Re: Detailed enquiry

From what I could tell from the video he starts out using a "Sniffer". This allows him to see the IP address of traffic to his machine and I suspect that COD is sending messages directly to the IPs of the other players and that makes IP detection possible since the messages are not going through cen...
