You'd have to check the manual. Sometimes they're configured by the ISP, so you may need to check with them also.

If your ISP has assigned a static IP address to your modem then you'll need to contact the ISP to have them change it.

I do not suggest to anyone to use "free" or "public" proxy servers unless they are aware of the risks. If you choose to use a proxy server make sure to visit the homepage of this site to see if the proxy server really hides your IP address.

Since nobody other than the ISP has direct access to customer records each geolocation database provider has their own methodology for determining the location of an IP address.
