Hello staff,
I have a suggestion concerning the input box in the Lookup IP Adress
Actually, IP's have to be pasted this way: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Could it be possible to also accept dashes (-) as separators, and not only dots (.) for example: xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx
Because very often, IP's are indicated with dashes as separators.
Thanks & bravo for your great site, active for so many years now.

Re: Accept - in Lookup IP Adress
Yes, it's something that we could add.
Where have you seen IP addresses with "-" instead of a "."? The only place I recall seeing it used is in PTR records.

Thanks Chris for your quick answer !
I found dashes separators on IRC, for example in #quebec or #usa channels
In case you add this functionality, the error message should probably change :
"Invalid IP address. Please enter a valid IP address. (For example: 10.0.0.1 or 10-0-0-1)"

Gotcha, we can update to convert dashes to periods but probably won't update the error message as IP addresses don't have dashes.
