when i use VPN my website does not work

Post by medhatnasra »

I've noticed that there might be an issue accessing the website I created when using a VPN . It seems to be affecting the site's functionality. If any of you have experience with this or know a workaround, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Some hosting services will block suspect traffic, unfortunately, that sometimes includes traffic from some VPNs. I would try using a different VPN server and see of the problem continues. If it does, contact your hosting company for support.

If your website stops working when you use a VPN, there may be several reasons for this behavior. Here are some suggestions for solving the problem:

Check VPN Connection: Make sure your VPN connection is stable and working properly. Sometimes, an unstable VPN connection can cause page-loading problems.

VPN server location Some websites may be configured to block access to users from certain regions or countries. Try changing the VPN server location to see if this solves the problem.

Firewall settings: Some VPNs have built-in firewall features. Make sure your firewall settings don't block access to your website.

Cookies and Browser Cache: Information stored in your browser's cookies or cache can sometimes cause problems when using a VPN. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies.

VPN protocol: Try changing the VPN protocol you're using. Some websites may not be compatible with certain VPN protocols. Common protocols include OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec, and IKEv2/IPsec.

DNS: Problems may arise if your VPN provider's DNS servers are down or experiencing problems. Try changing the DNS servers to see if this solves the problem.

Website troubleshooting: Check whether the website works when you're not using a VPN. If the problem persists even without a VPN, it may be that the problem lies with the website itself.

Contact Technical Support: If all the above steps fail, contact your VPN provider's technical support. They may be able to provide advice specific to their service.

Bear in mind that some websites may have strict policies regarding the use of VPNs for security reasons, or to prevent access from certain geographical areas. If this is the case, it may be difficult to circumvent these restrictions without the site owner's permission.
