What is meant by classA, classB, classC and classD type IP addresses

Class C is a block of 256 IP addresses, for example 10.0.0.0 - 10.0.0.255
Class B is a block of 65,536 IP addresses, for example 10.0.0.0 - 10.0.255.255
Class A is a block of 16,777,216 IP addresses, for example 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255

The Ip addresses have 5 classes.
NAME RANGE
CLASS A 0---126
127 is reserved for loopback function.No network has an ip address127.w.x.y.z, if you send any message with using it . the message don't go out to your system loopback to your system.
CLASS B 128---191
CLASS C 192---223
CLASS D 224---239
CLASS E 240---254

class d is reserved for multicast groups and
E is used for research and development purposes
