If you have a service that is reporting recent access from your tablet (such as GMail or Facebook) it should provide you a recent IP address that was used by your device.

That IP address can be used to determine the GENERAL location (usually within 25km) of your phone. Unfortunately IP address is not consistently accurate enough to use that information to find the exact location of your phone.

You may try contacting your carrier or local law enforcement to see if they are able to assist you.

In the future I recommend installing an application on your device that will allow you to remotely track it's location (if it is turned on). There are applications for both iOS and Android that will do that.

You can also check https://www.icloud.com/#find or https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager depending on the operating system.
