Is it possible to run 2 Computers off different IP Addresses?

Post by Maxwell20 » Mon Feb 15, 2016 10:39 am

I would like to have 2 MacBooks running from home, but both running from different IP addresses, is this possible? I know I can go through VPN providers, but the IP address changes each time you log-on, where as I would like to have the same permanent address for each Mac. Also, if this is possible, would it still be possible to see they are from the same residential address?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can contact your ISP and see if they provide a multiple static IP address service. Most residential cable and DSL providers offer this service for a small fee.

VPN providers also provide dedicated ip's as well that do not change each time you login.
