Country listed wrong geolocation, killed lastpass

I recently switched Internet services in the Turks and Caicos Islands to Cable and Wireless. Unfortunately, maxmind and other services say my correct IP of 65.255.62.51 is in the RUSSIAN FEDERATION! LastPass won't let me log in, and my VoiP service has died. I submitted correction requests to maxmind, but it says it takes weeks to correct. What to do?

You should contact each both LastPass and your VOIP carrier and ask them what you need to do to resolve the issue. Having Maxmind update their database may not resolve the issue unless both LastPass and your VOIP carrier told you to contact them...

Having dealt with maxmind several times over the past years, they only update once a month, generally at the beginning. If your correction request comes in before the 12th of the current month, then usually they will include your correction request at the start of the next month after they investigate your issue themselves. If the request goes in after the 12th, then its generally a 2 month wait.

Not all of the ip tracing websites are listing your ip address incorrectly.
