What are these Proxy tests statnds for?

Post by linuxsps »

Hello,
I am trying to hide my proxy server from the remote server.
I am using Squid Proxy server with Tranparesy and Spoofing enabled.
But still the remote servers are reporting that the Proxy has been detected.

I check my ip address from the whatismyipaddress.com site My IP page, it shows me both my ip address and also the proxy server address as below.

Proxy Server IP address: xxx.xxx.xxx.142
Proxy Server Details: abc.bbc.ccd.org (squid/3.1.0.14)
Proxy Reports IP as: xxx.xxx.xxx.126

I noticed on link from this website as Advanced Proxy Test (Proxy Detector).

When i visited this link it shows me some test results as:
IP XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
rDNS FALSE
WIMIA Test TRUE
TOR Test FALSE
Loc Test FALSE
Header Test FALSE
DNSBL Test FALSE

What all these tests stands for? How can use these results to acheive the 100 transperacny?

Thanks,

You'll want to DISABLE transparency. Transparency means that the proxy will pass along your public IP address. Are you running the proxy on your local network or does it reside on a different network?
