Transparent Proxy setup

Post by haloboy123abc » Fri Feb 21, 2014 7:27 am

How do I connect to a transparent proxy server on firefox?

It has HTTP, Socks (V4 and V5), FTP, and SSL

You would get the settings for the proxy and then add them to your browser so it uses the proxy.

Suppose the proxy server address is 192.168.0.1
"Tools" -> "Options" -> "Advanced" -> "Network" -> "Connection" -> "Settings":
Select "Manual proxy configuration", then configure as bellow.

HTTP Proxy: 192.168.0.1 Port: 808
SSL Proxy: 192.168.0.1 Port: 808
FTP Proxy: 192.168.0.1 Port: 808
SOCKS Host: 192.168.0.1 Port: 808
No Proxy for: localhost,127.0.0.1
