proxy's unidentified as such
proxy's unidentified as such
I'm a moderator for a chat room intended to support folks with gender issues. We get our fair share of trolls. And some of them are serial violators who will sneak in by nick changes, IP changes (for which generalized location would help), and then the use of proxy servers. Some folks just want to watch the world burn as they say. But now we're finding that proxy's slip past identification, and of course they will vary service names as well. Is there any help in the pipeline for this?

You might want to check out implementing StopForumSpam.com's API. While it's not perfect we've found it a great way to stop spam accounts from being created in our forums.

If you want to contact me via my profile, I may have some information that will help you identify more of the proxy users and make it easier to control them. I have heard that the mod's suggestion above is also a very useful site.
