cant change my ip address

Hi friends, i tried to change my ipaddress by typing " ipaddress/release " in the run search box - unplugging the power to the internet and laptop and left it overnite.no change in my password. Please help me...Regards...

Have you tried contacting your Internet Service Provider? Any new IP address is going to come from them and if you have a "static" IP, then it may take much more than you are doing to get a new one.

Contact your ISP. They are there to help you with things like this.
