Re: how to trace an email
Have you received an email from the address or do you only have the email address?
Re: how to trace an email
1. Check the email headers. The email headers contain information about the sender, including the IP address.
2. Use a reverse IP lookup tool to determine the geographical location of the sender.
3. Use a traceroute tool to trace the route the email took from its source to its recipient. This will provide more details about the sender's location.
4. Contact the Internet service provider (ISP) associated with the IP address to get more information about the sender. The ISP may be able to tell you the name and address of the person who sent the email.
