auto-forward, help ID message

I have gotten a few messages from the same email address and I would like to trace where it is coming from (it is an attack on my daughter). Unfortunately the email address it was sent to auto-forwards to my gmail. Can I still see where it came from? I got the header code from the messages out of my gmail, but when I log in to the email space it was sent to, it is empty as everything is forwarded. Let me know if you can help!

Unfortunately, you would need access to the original message to attempt to get the sender's IP address.

As an alternative, if you think you can trick the sender into clicking on a link, you could use something like grabbify or iplogger to get the IP address from the click.
