Post by Lisetita123 » Wed Aug 09, 2017 2:18 pm

Original Post Translated: My IP address is blacklisted with several servers appearing in red a symbol for that reason I was blocked from those sites. Why my IP became a threat to these servers if that IP is the one in my house the internet is cable because it contaminated or what happened? I totally disregard this topic but I would like to clean my IP, is there any way to do it? I appreciate your attention in advance.

Response Translated: Without knowing the IP address it's hard to specifically answer the question. The blacklists are generally used for mail server to mail server communication, not for end users and/or firewalls. It's normal for a residential internet connection's IP address to be listed on a few blacklists -- because mail servers should not be running on such connections.

Other listings could indicated that one or more machines on your network have been compromised. If you would you can post the IP address here, publicly, or send an email to support@whatismyipaddress.com for a private discussion.
