ISP vs. dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net

Post by WIMIPA2013 » Tue May 28, 2013 4:56 am

I recently started a new Optical Internet service with a local provider and obtained 3 static IP's with them. Upon reviewing the IP (72.12.73.61) here, I found that it was listed under dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net.

From what I have read on SORBS, they state that the range is designated as a Dynamic range. When viewing the details (http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/72.12.73.61) I can see that it is indeed listed as a Dynamic address. My ISP states that ARIN does not have any place to designate the IP as Static or Dynamic so I am hoping that someone out there can tell me how/where this designation is set and how to change it so that we can be removed from this blacklist.

Thanks in advance!

Tom
