Post by JRAJU » Fri Jun 15, 2018 5:02 am

Hi, newbie here.
I just click the blacklist ip check and it prompts to wait for a minute to check whether it is blacklisted by the servers. But , the check did not complete even afer a few minutes. is there any thing i miss?
or should i wait for more minutes to be checked.
I am not able to attach a screen shot, as i do not find the annexure tab or may be new user would have to wait to upload

It could be something specific to your setup. I've tested and it appears to be working correctly at this time.

hI, the green red icons present inthe analysis. Is that the result of the scan. But ....Checking in the top, confuses one to wait for the result as if it would be shown after some time. Please correct this in your web page. Checking...... wait for one minute, should change to checked...
Ok . If suppose, majority of 80 sites shows green and a very few shows red, then what should be inferred with that analysis

We'll work to make the page more clear.

It depends on a number of factors:
  • What does the IP address represent? (End user, mail server, web server, gateway, etc)
  • Which lists are shown as red? (For an end-user IP address one or two red may be OK, a CBL listing could indicate a compromised machine on that network)
If you would like to discuss in more detail you can post the IP address here. If you would like to discuss privately you can open a support ticket by sending an email to support@whatismyipaddress.com.

The cbl.abuseat.org blacklist.

A listing there usually indicates an active spam source or a compromised machine on that network. Without the specific IP address, I am not able to be more specific.

Hi, I am not having static ip address . Only dynamic ip address alloted by my ISP for each log on. So, your test page will show different results for different log on from my pc. Is it correct? Normally Static IPs are avoided by ISP, as it would pinpoint a particular user and hacker could easilly attack static ip address. Is it , sir,
I also raised a query on the software that would alert me or how to connect to the best bot servers to; know if my log on ip is affected?
